Steel reducing coupling for press fittings – a reliable transition between diameters

This Steel socket reducer, made of galvanized steel, is a key element in heating and water installation systems. It is used to connect pipes of different diameters – in this case from 66.7 mm to 108 mm – ensuring a tight and durable connection. It is designed for use with the KAN-therm system, but thanks to its standard dimensions, it can also be used in many other installations using press technology.

Construction and application

It has a clamping sleeve on one side and a push-in end on the other, allowing for quick and secure connection with the pipes. The seal made of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EDPM) rubber guarantees long-lasting tightness, even in difficult operating conditions. • Dimensions: The total length of the reducer is 186 mm, and the working lengths of the individual connections are 14.5 mm and 44.5 mm. Nominal diameters are DN 65 and DN 100.
