This Steel socket reduction fitting, with diameters of 88.9/66.7 mm, is a key element in the KAN-therm Steel system, designed to connect pipes of different diameters in central heating and domestic hot water systems. Made of galvanized steel, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance, which is particularly important in demanding operating conditions.
Design and application
The reduction connects a crimp sleeve with a push-in end, allowing for quick and secure installation using press technology. Its simple design facilitates installation, and precise dimensions (total length 156 mm) guarantee a tight connection. A seal made of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EDPM) rubber ensures reliability and long-term operation. The nominal diameter of the connections is DN 65 on both sides.
