Steel reduction for press fittings

This steel reduction nipple is used to connect pipes of different diameters in KAN-therm Steel installations. It is a key element when transitioning between different sections of the installation, ensuring a tight and durable connection. The construction based on a crimp sleeve and a push-in end guarantees quick and reliable installation.

Construction and application

The reduction connects a pipe with a diameter of 88.9 mm to a pipe with a diameter of 76.1 mm. Made of carbon steel, it provides strength and resistance to mechanical damage. Additionally, the presence of an O-ring seal minimizes the risk of leaks, and the LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leakage technology increases installation safety – any leaks are visible before the fitting is fully crimped. This allows for quick identification and repair of potential problems.
