Galvanized Steel Reducing Tee for Press-Fit Connections

The fitting is made of galvanized steel (Fe/Zn88) with a zinc coating thickness of 8–15 µm, designed for installation in district heating and water supply systems where durability and corrosion resistance are required. All three ends are press-fit sleeves, enabling pipe connections without threading, using press tools.

The construction includes an O-ring seal ensuring tightness under normal operating pressure. Additionally, the product features a controlled leakage function (LBP) — in the event of seal damage, water does not leak violently but slowly, allowing time to detect the fault and shut down the system.

The component is part of the KAN-therm Steel system and is compatible with other elements of the same series. Installation requires only press tools — no welding, gluing, or additional seals are needed. It is not suitable for connections with other types of metal pipes (e.g., copper) or plastics (PPR, PEX), as the press-fit technology is specific to galvanized steel.
