Galvanized Steel Bypass Reducing Tee
Fitting manufactured from carbon steel St 34.2 (1.0034), coated with an electrolytic zinc layer of 8–15 µm thickness. The anti-corrosion protection covers external surfaces, eliminating the need for additional painting, even when installed in exposed heating systems.
Connections are made using the Press technology with "M" profile pressing tools. Installation requires no welding or threading—simply press the fitting, which reduces installation time and eliminates the risk of manual errors. All connections feature a controlled leak function (LBP – Leak Before Press). Unpressed connections remain leaky and are easily detectable during pressure testing, allowing quick identification of errors before system commissioning.
Internal O-Ring sealing ensures tightness at pressures up to 16 bar and temperatures ranging from -35°C to 135°C. The seal is factory-installed and made of EPDM—a high-temperature-resistant rubber requiring no replacement during operation.
The fitting has three connections: two with a diameter of 28 mm (DN 25) and one reducing connection of 15 mm (DN 12). It is designed for two-pipe systems, making it ideal for closed-loop central heating, cooling, or industrial installations. Use in solar or compressed air systems is possible provided the medium parameters do not exceed allowable limits.
The pipe cross-section is not significantly restricted, ensuring minimal pressure losses and smooth flow. The design is fully compatible with the entire KAN-therm Steel system, including pipes and other fittings from the same series.
