O-Ring LBP FPM Viton Steel/Inox - 18 is an indispensable sealing element in installations made with KAN-therm Steel and Inox systems. It ensures the tightness of connections, and thanks to the LBP (Leak Before Press) function, it facilitates the identification of any leaks after pressing. Made of high-quality fluororubber (FPM/FKM – Viton), it guarantees reliability and durability even in demanding conditions.

Material and resistance

The seal is made of FPM/FKM (fluororubber), which is characterized by exceptional chemical and thermal resistance. The green color of the seal facilitates visual identification of the material. Thanks to this, the O-Ring retains its properties over a wide temperature range – up to +200°C – and at a working pressure of up to 16 bar. This makes it ideal for use in heating and plumbing installations where variable operating conditions occur.

LBP function – connection quality control

A key feature of this O-Ring is the LBP (Leak Before Press) function. This means that an unpressed connection is not leak-proof, allowing for easy detection of errors during leak tests. The special design of the grooves on the O-Ring enables visual inspection of the connection – a leak indicates that the connection has not been pressed.
