PPR pipe SDR7.4 PN16 - 63x8.6 mm 4 m length 1229203012
Polypropylene pipe for water and heating installations
Pipe made of polypropylene random (PP-R) with a diameter of 63 mm and a wall thickness of 8.6 mm, designed for the construction of water supply, domestic hot water and central heating installations. The product is characterized by high resistance to pressure and temperature, as well as resistance to corrosion and scale formation. Available in the form of a 4-meter long rod, it is ideal for both new installations and modernization of existing ones.
Features and application
PN16 SDR7.4 pipe is a universal solution for professionals and individual customers. Thanks to the pressure class PN16, it can operate under a pressure of up to 16 bar, which ensures the safety and reliability of the installation. PP-R material guarantees resistance to the action of aggressive chemical substances present in water and heating agents. The wide range of applications includes:
- Cold and hot water installations – ensures safe transport of drinking water.
- Central heating systems – temperature resistance up to 70°C (short-term up to 90°C) enables efficient heat distribution.
- Floor heating installations – the possibility of bending the pipe with a minimum radius Rmin = 8D allows for easy routing in floor systems.
- Solar systems – resistance to high temperatures allows for use in solar installations.
Construction and assembly
The pipe is made of polypropylene random (PP-R), which ensures its homogeneous structure and high quality of welded connections. Assembly is carried out by polyfusion welding, which guarantees the tightness and durability of the connections. It is important to use dedicated KAN-therm welding elements to maintain full system compatibility and avoid leakage problems. The smooth inner surface of the pipe minimizes flow resistance, which translates into energy efficiency of the installation and reduces scale formation. Additionally, the material is characterized by a low linear coefficient of thermal expansion (α = 0.15 mm/mxK), which reduces the risk of deformation under the influence of temperature changes.
