PPR pipe SDR6 PN20 - 110x18.3, 4m length 1229206029
Polypropylene pipe for heating and water installations
This polypropylene (PPR) SDR6 PN20 pipe with a diameter of 110 mm and a wall thickness of 18.3 mm, supplied in 4-meter lengths, is a reliable solution for constructing water supply, heating, and central heating installations. Made of high-quality polypropylene random copolymer (PP-R), it ensures durability and corrosion resistance.
The pipe is designed to operate at a maximum working pressure of 20 bar (for cold water) and is classified as PN20. This makes it suitable for systems of various purposes – from potable water installations, through underfloor heating, to traditional heating systems. Its versatility will be appreciated by both installers and end-users.
Features and application
The pipe is characterized by a homogeneous structure, which translates into high mechanical strength and tightness of fusion-welded connections. It is ideal for conducting cold water, hot water, and heating medium. It can be used in installations of class 1-5 according to PN-EN 15874. The dimensional stability of the pipe allows for safe installation even in difficult conditions.
- Wide application: ideal for cold water, hot water and central heating installations.
- Durability and resistance: made of high-quality polypropylene random copolymer (PP-R), resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage.
- Safety: has CSTB, ITB, Lloyds and PZH certificates, confirming compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Easy installation: connection by polyfusion welding ensures tight and durable connections.
- Long warranty: the manufacturer offers a 10-year warranty (in the case of individual construction - 15 years).
- Low thermal conductivity: minimizes heat loss in heating systems.
- Linear thermal expansion coefficient α: is 0.15 mm/mxK, which affects the stability of the installation with temperature changes.
Construction and parameters
The pipe has a smooth inner surface with a roughness of k = 0.007 mm, which minimizes flow resistance and ensures energy efficiency of the system. The minimum bending radius of the pipe is Rmin = 8D (8 times the outer diameter), which makes it easier to adapt to complex installation layouts. The pipe color is white, which facilitates the identification of the medium flowing inside the installation. It is important to maintain the appropriate operating temperature - the maximum medium temperature is 60°C for long-term use. The pipe does not have thermal insulation - if required, additional external insulation should be used.
