PPR pipe SDR6 PN20 - 20x3.4 mm 4 m 1229206033
Polypropylene pipe for water and heating installations
Pipe made of polypropylene (PP) SDR6 PN20, with a diameter of 20 mm and a wall thickness of 3.4 mm, supplied in lengths of 4 meters. It is an element of the KAN-therm system, designed for the construction of cold water, hot water and central heating installations. Made of random polypropylene (PP-R), it is characterized by high strength and corrosion resistance.
Application and characteristic features
This homogeneous PP-R pipe is ideal for installations requiring reliability and durability. Its construction allows for butt fusion welding, which ensures leakproof and durable connections. Thanks to the pressure class PN20, it can operate at a maximum working pressure of 20 bar (at the appropriate temperature). The pipe is suitable for transporting potable water at various temperatures and heating media.
- Versatility: Can be used in cold water, hot water and central heating installations.
- Durability: Made of high-quality polypropylene, resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage.
- Sealing: Butt fusion welding guarantees durable and leakproof connections.
- Safety: It has CSTB, ITB, Lloyds and PZH certificates, confirming compliance with safety standards.
- Easy installation: The pipe does not require additional processing before welding.
- Long service life: Manufacturer's warranty – 10 years (in individual construction even 15 years).
The pipe meets the requirements of PN‑EN 15874, which guarantees its high quality and safety. The linear thermal expansion coefficient is 0.15 mm/mxK, and the thermal conductivity λ is 0.24 W/mxK. The minimum bending radius of the pipe is 8.0 Dd mm (outer diameter). The inner wall roughness k is 0.007mm, which affects the reduction of pressure losses of the flowing medium. The white color of the pipe makes it easier to identify in the installation. It is important to remember the temperature limitations – the maximum operating temperature is 60°C for some applications (depending on the medium).
