This 90° steel tee from the Steel Sprinkler series is a reliable solution for creating branches in fire protection installations. Made of galvanized steel, it provides durability and corrosion resistance, which is crucial in demanding working conditions. Designed for press connections, it guarantees the tightness and safety of the system.

Construction and application

The tee has three socket clamping connections, allowing for easy and quick installation in an existing system. The 90° angle makes it ideal for changing the direction of pipes in tight spaces. Primarily used in KAN-therm Steel/Steel Sprinkler sprinkler systems, but compatible with other installations using press connections with galvanized steel. Galvanized steel (Fe/Zn88) with a layer thickness of 8-15 µm provides long-term corrosion protection.

LBP function and O-ring seal

A key feature of this tee is the LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leak function, which allows you to detect an improperly made press connection even before the installation is put into use. An additional O-ring seal increases the certainty of tightness and minimizes the risk of leaks. This is particularly important in fire protection systems, where reliable operation is critical.
