PP-R Reducer 90/75 – Reliable connection in installations

The threaded reduction sleeve made of random polypropylene (PP-R) is a key element in plumbing, heating and central heating installations. It is used to connect pipes of different diameters – in this case 90 mm to 75 mm – ensuring a tight and durable connection.

Application and properties

The Kan-Therm reduction sleeve is characterized by its versatility and can be used in installations:

• Cold water (up to 20 bar)
• Hot water (up to 10 bar)
• Central heating (up to 6 bar)
• Maximum operating temperature: 90°C

Made of high-quality random polypropylene, the sleeve is resistant to corrosion, deposits and mechanical damage. This ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation of the installation. The application class from 1 to 5 confirms its versatility and possibility of use in various systems.

Construction and assembly

The fitting has a simple construction that facilitates assembly. It is designed for direct fusion welding into the fitting socket from the larger diameter side (90 mm), and the smaller diameter (75 mm) is used for direct connection with the pipe. Fusion welding requires the use of specialized equipment, but ensures a durable and tight connection, eliminating the risk of leaks. The sleeve has CSTB, ITB, Lloyds, PZH and ZiK certificates, which confirm its compliance with applicable standards and high quality. The PN‑EN 15874 standard guarantees safety of use.

Additionally, the manufacturer Kan-Therm offers a 10-year warranty on the product (even 15 years in individual construction), which proves its reliability and high quality of workmanship.
