Stainless steel tee for KAN-therm systems

This stainless steel tee 1.4404 is a key element in the construction of durable and reliable plumbing and heating installations. Designed for press connections, it ensures tightness and safety in KAN-therm Steel and Inox systems. Its construction, based on a cylindrical gas internal thread BSPP-G (ISO 228-1), allows for easy connection with other installation elements.

Construction and application

This tee connects three pipes with a nominal diameter of 1/2 inch (DN40) at a 90-degree angle. Thanks to the LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leakage function, it is possible to detect incorrectly made connections before commissioning the installation – which significantly increases safety and minimizes the risk of future problems. The connection lengths have been precisely selected for optimal assembly and structural stability: connection 1 has a length of 59.7 mm with a working length of 29.7 mm, connection 2 has a length of 46 mm with a working length of 36 mm and connection 3 has a length of 59.7 mm with a working length of 29.7 mm. The outer diameter of the pipes is 42mm for all connections.
