Steel tee for pressure installations

This GW Steel tee with a diameter of 3/4 inch is a reliable solution for creating branches in steel installations. Made of carbon steel, coated with a layer of zinc, it provides durable corrosion protection and is designed for pressing. The fitting has a tapered BSPT-Rc internal gas thread, which facilitates connection with other installation elements.

Design and application

This tee is part of the KAN-therm Steel system, dedicated to internal, closed pressure installations. It will be suitable for central heating, chilled water, technological heat and solar installations. Thanks to the use of pressing technology, installation is quick, reliable and does not require welding or threading. This is particularly important during the modernization of existing installations in multi-family buildings, where open fire is prohibited.

LBP function and safety

A key feature of this tee is the LBP (Leak Before Press) function, which indicates unpressed connections. This means that in the event of incorrect pressing, the connection will be leaky, allowing for quick detection and repair of the defect – increasing the safety of the entire installation. In addition, the steel construction provides high mechanical strength and resistance to damage, which is important in places exposed to vandalism or intensive use. The tee allows operation at pressures up to 25 bar and temperatures up to 200°C (using appropriate crimping tools).
