Intelligent motion detection with Kanlux SENTO sensor

Kanlux SENTO is a modern motion and presence sensor designed for indoor mounting. It utilizes 3xPIR technology, meaning it has three infrared detectors in one housing. This solution provides exceptional sensitivity and allows it to detect even minimal movement, making it ideal for use in offices, corridors, or rooms where precise detection is required. Thanks to this, the sensor not only turns on the light but also reacts to the presence of people in the room.

Functionality and application

The SENTO sensor is designed for mounting on both walls and ceilings. Its versatility makes it suitable for many types of interiors. A detection range of up to 10 meters and a wide viewing angle (360° horizontally and 120° vertically) guarantee comprehensive space monitoring. The ability to adjust the lighting time (from 10 seconds to 30 minutes) and the light intensity at which the sensor starts to operate (3-2000 lx) allows it to be adapted to individual needs and lighting conditions. This allows you to optimize energy consumption and ensure user comfort.

Construction and technical parameters

The sensor housing made of plastic ensures durability and resistance to damage. Protection class II guarantees safe use. Wires with a cross-section from 0.75 mm² to 1.5 mm² can be easily connected using a connection terminal. The sensor operates at a voltage of 220-240 V AC and a frequency of 50 Hz. The use of a micro-break between the relay contacts increases its reliability. Additionally, the operating temperature range from 5°C to 25°C ensures stable operation under typical indoor conditions. The maximum load power is 2000 VA, which allows controlling most standard lighting circuits.
