The DICHT 4LED NP 218/PS waterproof luminaire is a robust solution for lighting both indoors and outdoors. Designed for surface mounting, it is ideal for rooms with high humidity, dust, or exposure to direct water contact. Its construction provides protection against dust and water (IP65), guaranteeing reliable operation even in demanding conditions.

Construction and application

Made of durable plastic and equipped with a polystyrene (PS) diffuser, the luminaire is resistant to mechanical damage and UV radiation. The ribbed surface of the diffuser ensures even light distribution, minimizing glare. Designed for use with T8 LED tubes with a G13 base, it allows for easy replacement of light sources. Single-sided power supply simplifies connection, and the wire cross-section range of 0.5÷2.5 mm² ensures compatibility with various electrical installations. The ability to connect luminaires in series simplifies the installation of longer light strings.

Safety and parameters

The luminaire has protection class II, which means double insulation and increased safety. It is designed to operate in ambient temperatures from 5°C to 25°C. The maximum bulb power is 2 x 18W. The minimum distance from the illuminated object is 0.5m – it is worth considering this when planning the installation. Thanks to the IP65 rating, the luminaire is resistant to water jets from any direction and to dust ingress – making it ideal for workshops, production halls, garages or outdoor areas.
