Hermetic luminaire for LED tubes – reliable protection and efficient lighting

This DICHT 4LED NP 236/PS hermetic luminaire from Kanlux is a solid solution for lighting both indoors and outdoors. Designed specifically for use with T8 LED tubes, it provides reliable protection against moisture, dust and mechanical damage (IP65 rating). It is ideal for workshops, production halls, garages, as well as outdoor areas exposed to adverse weather conditions.

Construction and mounting

The luminaire is made of durable plastic with a polystyrene (PS) diffuser, which guarantees its durability and corrosion resistance. The simple construction allows for easy surface mounting on the ceiling. Cables with a cross-section from 0.5 mm² to 2.5 mm² are connected using a screw terminal block. The power supply is single-sided, which simplifies installation. With dimensions of 1270 x 95 x 60 mm, the luminaire fits standard 120 cm long LED tubes.

Safety and operating parameters

Protection class II provides additional safety. The luminaire is designed to operate at temperatures from 5°C to 25°C. The possibility of connecting luminaires in series increases installation flexibility. The maximum power of supported T8 LED fluorescent lamps is 2 x 36W. The ribbed diffuser ensures even light distribution, minimizing glare. This makes working in the illuminated room comfortable and safe for the eyes.
