This dual-flap storm gate valve KARMAT, with a nominal diameter of DN 160, provides reliable protection against the effects of floods, heavy rainfall, or sewage system failures. Designed for installation in external drainage systems, it effectively protects rooms on the lower floors from unwanted backflow of sewage and rainwater. The KARMAT storm gate valve is not only protection against water. Thanks to the use of a chrome-nickel flap cover and seal, it effectively prevents rodents from entering the building through the sewage system. This is particularly important in areas prone to pests, where they can cause serious sanitary and structural problems. Additionally, the valve protects against unpleasant odors in case of prolonged disuse of the installation.

• Zeta value: The Zeta value is 1.2, which affects the efficiency of the non-return valve.

Installation of the KARMAT storm gate valve is simple and intuitive – it can be installed on horizontal drain pipes before exiting the building, as well as on the pipe in round or square inspection chambers with a side of 800 mm. The product meets the requirements of PN-EN 13564-1:2004 (has a CE mark) and PN-EN 1451 regarding drainage systems.
