The Kidde K7CO carbon monoxide detector is a reliable device that watches over the safety of your home or vehicle. Equipped with an advanced electrochemical sensor, this detector effectively detects the presence of carbon monoxide – an odorless and invisible gas that poses a serious threat to health and life. Thanks to it, you can sleep peacefully knowing that you and your loved ones are protected.

Key features and functions

The K7CO sensor stands out with a long sensor life – up to 10 years. Battery power (2 x AA included) ensures independence from the electrical network and allows installation in any place where there is a risk of carbon monoxide formation. In the event of detecting a dangerous CO concentration, the device immediately signals an alarm visually (red LED) and acoustically (loud 85 dB signal). Additionally, the sensor stores in memory information about exceeding the level of 100 PPM, allowing you to check if the harmful gas was emitted during your absence.

The device also has a test/reset button, which allows you to regularly check its functionality and clear the alarm after the hazard has been removed. The self-monitoring system monitors the condition of the sensor, circuits and batteries, informing about any problems with a flashing LED and an audible signal. This gives you the confidence that the sensor is working properly and is ready to protect.

Universal application and compliance with standards

The Kidde K7CO sensor has been designed with a wide range of applications in mind. Thanks to its shock-resistant construction, it is ideal not only for homes and apartments, but also for caravans, campers and boats. The device has all the necessary safety certificates: the construction mark B and BSI certificates confirming compliance with standards BS EN 50291-1:2018 and BS EN 50291-2:2019 (PN-EN 50291-2:2020). It also meets the Polish standard PN-EN 50291-1:2018+AC:2021 confirmed by CNBOP-PIB. This guarantees the highest quality and reliability.

Additionally, the sensor informs about the need for replacement after 10 years from power-up – both with an optical and acoustic signal.

Installation and operation

Installing the sensor is extremely simple – it can be mounted on a wall or ceiling using the included mounting elements or placed on a flat surface. Compact dimensions (119 x 72 x 40 mm) and aesthetic design make the device easily fit into any interior. Operation is intuitive – just press the test button to check the sensor's operation.
