Made of carbon steel subjected to a hardening process, it provides the mechanical strength necessary for secure fastening.

Construction and materials

The screw body is made of high-quality steel that has undergone a thermal hardening process. This technological treatment increases the material hardness to a level that allows effective drilling even into hard wood species without pre-drilling holes.

The surface is protected by an 8 micrometer thick electro-galvanized layer, which not only provides C2 class corrosion resistance but also gives a characteristic yellow-gold color that perfectly complements the natural color of wood.

The countersunk head with a diameter of 8mm is equipped with special milling ribs located just below the head. These precisely shaped structural elements allow the screw to sink smoothly into the material without the need for additional pressure or surface preparation.

Threading system and milling

The screw has a partial thread with a length of 30mm, which represents an optimal compromise between fastening strength and the ability to clamp the joined elements together.

The ribbed thread is coated with a special lubricating wax layer, which significantly reduces friction during insertion.

The working tip is equipped with a pilot milling cutter with a length ranging from 3,5 to 6,0mm. This structural element functions as a mini-drill, creating a pilot hole for the thread while simultaneously preventing the splitting of delicate wood structures during fastening.

Torx drive system

The TX20 (Torx) socket guarantees optimal torque transfer from the tool to the screw shank. The six-point socket profile eliminates the problem of bit "cam-out" during operation and ensures contact between the tool and the fastener.

Normative compliance and certification

The product meets the requirements of European standards DIN 7505 and PN-EN 14592:2008+A1:2012 regarding fasteners used in wooden structures. Certification confirms compliance with strength parameters and safety of use.
