Universal hammer-in plug for rapid installation in solid and hollow substrates

The Koelner FX-C rapid installation plug with a diameter of 8 mm and a length of 60 mm is designed for fast and economical installation in solid and hollow substrates.

Construction and materials

Expansion sleeve made of polypropylene (PP). Hammer-in nail made of electro-galvanized steel.

The cylindrical flange prevents pulling into the hole and stabilizes the fastening.

Application

Model FX-C 8 x 60 mm can be used for:

• fastening wooden and metal strips
• dry lining elements
• cable holders and pipe clamps
• lightweight facade elements and cladding

Substrate compatibility

The FX-C system can be used in:

• concrete
• solid brick
• solid silicate brick
• hollow silicate brick
• lightweight concrete blocks
• lightweight concrete hollow blocks
• aerated concrete

Aerated concrete requires a minimum substrate thickness of 100 mm to ensure the full load-bearing capacity of the connection.

Installation parameters

Installation requires drilling a hole with a diameter of exactly 8 mm. The minimum embedment depth is 40 mm. The maximum thickness of the fastened element must not exceed 20 mm.

The minimum spacing between fastening points is 100 mm. The distance from the edge of masonry elements should also not be less than 100 mm.

European certification

The product has the European ETA-13/0088 approval and the national technical assessment KOT-2019/0762. Each package contains exactly 100 sets (sleeve + nail), weighs approximately 0.96 kg, and is marked with the unique identification code FX-08C060, allowing for full product identification.
