CS structural wood screws

CS structural screws are hardened, high-strength components specifically designed for fastening wooden structures in demanding construction and carpentry applications.

Construction and materials

The core made of hardened steel ensures exceptional durability and resistance to deformation under load. The surface, coated with electrogalvanized zinc with yellow or white passivation, guarantees long-lasting corrosion protection even in outdoor conditions.

Special attention is drawn to the special partial thread geometry with a length of 80 mm on a total length of 240 mm. This design enables effective clamping of the joined elements while simultaneously maintaining the full load-bearing capacity of the connection.

Drilling cutter and thread geometry

The drilling cutter reduces the risk of wood splitting during assembly thanks to specially patented milling ribs that spread the wood fibers without destroying their structure. A wax layer applied to the thread reduces friction during insertion.

Torx drive system

The Torx TX40 drive is characterized by a precise fit between the bit and the socket, allowing the screw to be guided with one hand without the risk of the bit slipping out. Torx sockets with unified sizing within the diameter range allow for a reduction in the number of tools required on the construction site.

Professional applications

Fastening load-bearing structural elements, joining rafters with purlins in roof trusses, and fastening chipboard and layered boards. Installation of doors and windows, temporary formwork, and garden furniture.

Assembly instructions

Select the screw length according to the thickness of the element being fastened. Drive the screw perpendicularly to the substrate until the head is flush with the surface. In most cases, there is no need for pre-drilling.

Use a Torx T40 bit suitable for diameter Ø8 mm for optimal torque transfer without the risk of damaging the drive socket.
