Structural wood screw 8.0x320mm washer head, TX /50pcs/ CS-8320
Hardened elements for fastening wooden structures
The CS-8320 structural screw is a high-strength hardened element, specifically designed for fastening wooden structures when joining thick structural components. With a diameter of 8 mm and a length of 320 mm, it ensures solid connections in roof trusses and timber frame constructions.
Construction and materials
Made of hardened steel, the product is characterized by exceptional durability and resistance to mechanical loads. The surface is coated with electrogalvanized zinc with yellow or white passivation, guaranteeing long-term corrosion protection in outdoor conditions.
The 22 mm diameter washer head not only prevents the screw from pulling through the material but also ensures even pressure of the fastened element over a larger surface area. The special partial thread geometry with a length of 80 mm enables efficient transfer of forces between the connected elements.
Mounting system and ergonomics
The Torx TX40 drive guarantees secure bit seating without the risk of cam-out during assembly, which reduces tool wear. The ribbed thread, coated with a special wax layer, reduces the torque required for driving and minimizes friction between the shank and the material.
The drill point located at the tip eliminates the need for pre-drilling in most cases, especially when working with soft and medium-hard wood. Installation is performed perpendicular to the substrate until the head is fully flush with the material surface.
Structural applications
These elements are ideal for fastening wooden structural components, particularly when joining rafters to purlins in roof trusses, as well as in the construction of gazebos, pergolas, shelters, and fences. The partial thread ensures optimal clamping of elements without the risk of cracking or splitting.
Due to its high load-bearing capacity and connection stability, the screw is intended for fastening chipboard and layered boards, as well as timber frame structural elements.
Normative compliance and manufacturing quality
All units are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the PN-EN 14592-2008 standard, which specifies the requirements for materials, geometry, strength, and durability of fasteners used in load-bearing wooden structures.
The unit packaging contains 50 pieces of screws with a total weight of approximately 3.7 kg, providing an optimal quantity for most construction projects requiring solid material supplies.
