The KD-10160 frame plug is a professional solution for fastening in substrates with air voids, such as hollow blocks or aerated concrete. Thanks to its long expansion zone of 160 mm, it ensures stable and durable fastening even in difficult installation conditions.

High-quality construction and materials

The plug is made of PA6 nylon, which is characterized by high resistance to deformation and extended service life. The rigid nylon construction prevents the frames from distorting when tightening the 6.8 mm diameter hex screw.

The plug body with a zigzag design provides significantly greater expansion compared to standard solutions, resulting in higher load capacity. Special anti-rotation wings eliminate the risk of the plug spinning during installation, guaranteeing precise seating.

Installation parameters and compatibility

Installation requires a hole with a diameter of 10 mm and a minimum depth of 70 mm. The minimum embedment depth of the fastener is 60 mm, while the minimum substrate thickness must be 80 mm. The recommended spacing between fastening points is at least 30 mm, as is the minimum distance from the substrate edge.

The design allows for drilling directly through the mounted element, eliminating the need for pre-marking and significantly accelerating the installation process. The hex screw ensures stable fastening even in hard materials like steel, while simultaneously allowing for easy removal if necessary.
