Universal installation column for Connect systems
This double-sided mini-column, with a height of 451mm, is a practical solution for creating access points in electrical and telecommunications installations. Designed for ease of installation and durability, it is suitable for both commercial and residential buildings. The column offers space for 12 K45 modules, divided into two sides of 6 modules each, allowing for flexible installation configuration. Made of durable aluminum, it provides stability and resistance to mechanical damage.
Installation and construction
The column has been designed with installers in mind. The possibility of expansion or screw mounting to the ceiling provides flexibility in choosing the installation method. The included spreader element (length 1.5 m) ensures adequate rigidity of the entire structure. Thick aluminum profiles guarantee stability even when loaded with a large number of modules – the column can easily support a 3-meter section. Additionally, the glued anti-slip sponge isolates the column from the floor surface, minimizing the risk of damage and noise. Expansion screws allow for precise adjustment and stable mounting of the column.
Safety and functionality
Inside the column there is a metal separating partition, which provides electromagnetic protection for teleinformation and multimedia circuits. This is particularly important in modern installations, where interference can negatively affect signal quality. The design of the column allows easy access to the modules, which facilitates maintenance and any modifications to the installation. Thanks to this, both installers and end-users can count on reliable system operation for a long time.
