The Simon 82 series key in ivory color is a finishing element designed for candle-type installations, allowing you to control two lighting circuits from a single point. It is mounted on double mechanisms: double switch (75398-39), double changeover switch (75397-39), or double push button (75396-39). It is compatible with both mechanisms dedicated to the Simon 75 series and the full range of Simon 82 accessories, including the Detail and Nature variants.

With dimensions of 55×55 mm and an IP21 protection rating, this key is suitable for typical home and office environments, protected against objects larger than a finger and dripping water at an angle. Installation is tool-free – simply press the key, and the snap-fit mechanism will lock into place.

Material and Durability of the Finish

The manufacturer produces frames, keys, and covers for the Simon 82 series from duroplast – a thermosetting plastic with increased resistance to surface scratches and material aging due to UV and temperature. In practice, this means that the ivory color retains its original appearance even after years of use, without yellowing or dulling, which is characteristic of cheaper acrylic plastics.

For daily cleaning, simply wipe with a soft cloth. However, the manufacturer advises against using cleaning agents containing chlorine or other chemically aggressive substances that could damage the surface.

The Simon 82 series offers 39 color variants within two groups of standard frames and 20 additional finishes in the Nature line, inspired by glass, wood, and metal. The manufacturer recommends choosing the cover color to match the frame color, creating a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing look. However, to diversify the design, you can opt for other combinations according to your preferences.
