Candle switch – a reliable element of electrical installation

This illuminated, modular candle switch in beige is a proposal from Kontakt-Simon, ideal for both new installations and the modernization of existing ones. Designed for flush mounting, it offers convenient control of lighting and other electrical devices. Its universal design makes it suitable for most interiors.

Functionality and installation

The switch features a 2x1-pole connection arrangement, ensuring reliable operation. Flush mounting is quick and easy thanks to the use of self-clamping plug-in terminals and the possibility of mounting with claws or screws. The mounting depth of 24 mm allows for aesthetic and discreet placement of the switch in the wall. A high-gloss surface finish adds to its elegant appearance.

Safety and durability

Made of high-quality plastic (PC, halogen-free), the switch is resistant to mechanical damage and ensures long-term operation. The surface protection in a raw state guarantees corrosion resistance. The switching current for fluorescent lamps is 10AX at a rated voltage of 250V, making it safe to use with various types of loads. Additionally, the basic element with a central protective plate increases user comfort and the aesthetics of the installation. It is worth remembering that IP44 protection class can be obtained by using an appropriate frame and key seals (available separately).
