Construction and mounting

The socket is designed for flush mounting. Its compact construction (body depth of only 11mm) allows for easy installation even in limited space of the flush-mount box. The beige (cream) finish makes the socket harmoniously blend with various interior designs. Screw terminals provide a secure and durable connection of electrical wires. The reinforced profile of the terminal presses the wire onto the busbars, guaranteeing connection stability. Additionally, non-falling screw terminals facilitate mounting and prevent their loss.

Safety and durability

The Simon10 series is characterized by a high level of safety. The flexible bridge made of high-quality insulating material (4 mm thick) protects against accidental electric shock – it does not conduct electricity during installation. The busbar cover minimizes the risk of contact with live elements even after removing the socket cover. Four-stage latches on the frames ensure a perfect fit to the wall, even if the surface is not perfectly level. The socket has a rated voltage of 250 V and is designed to operate in the frequency range of 50-60 Hz and a load of 16 A.
