Functionality and installation

The socket has two independent sockets without grounding, protected by contact shutters – this is an additional safety feature against accidental touching of conductive elements. Installation is done using screw terminals, which is standard in electrical installations and allows for a secure connection of wires. Rated voltage 250V and frequency range 50-60Hz guarantee compatibility with most electrical installations.

It is worth paying attention to several design solutions that facilitate installation and increase safety:

• A recess on the housing indicates the optimal length of wire stripping, which minimizes the risk of errors during connection.
• A current rail cover minimizes the risk of electric shock even after removing the socket covers – important especially during servicing or maintenance of the installation.
• The small housing of the socket (depth 9 mm) allows for installation in standard flush-mounted boxes without problems with space.
• The claws of the double sockets are arranged diagonally, bypassing the screw sleeves and wire inlets in installation boxes – this facilitates installation and ensures connection stability.

The Simon 54 Premium socket is characterized by a matte surface finish and an elegant anthracite color. The plastic used with refining and antistatic additives guarantees color durability and resistance to dirt. Universal multiple frames are designed for both vertical and horizontal arrangements, providing great freedom of design. Additionally, all frames are prepared for IP44 version – just add a gasket to provide protection against moisture. Metal mounting presses the frame against the bridge hiding imperfections of the installation box mounting and the new bridge allows precise adjustment of the mechanism thanks to the level supports.
