The BMG2M.01/11 non-earthed double socket from the Simon Basic series is a functional electrical installation component designed for daily use in homes, apartments, and offices. Made of high-quality white PC plastic with a glossy finish, it fits perfectly into the aesthetics of modern interiors.

The device operates at a rated current of 16A and a voltage of 250V, making it suitable for powering most household appliances. The 50-60 Hz frequency range ensures compatibility with the Polish power grid. The socket is equipped with screw terminals, which allow for a secure and durable connection of installation wires.

The modular design with dimensions of 80×75×45 mm allows for space savings in installation boxes, and a mounting depth of only 21 mm facilitates installation even in shallow boxes. The IP20 protection rating provides basic protection against contact with live parts and against access to solid objects larger than 12.5 mm.

Mounting systems and modular compatibility

The innovative system based on a metal bridge is equipped with special protrusions that help maintain perfect vertical or horizontal alignment in multiple sets. This solution significantly facilitates the precise mounting of multi-gang frames in both vertical and horizontal configurations.

A particular advantage is the ability to create extensive power sets—a single five-gang frame can accommodate up to 10 sockets, making it an ideal solution for computer workstations or workshops requiring multiple power points. The metal frame-to-bridge fastening not only ensures quick installation but also effectively masks installation imperfections of the electrical boxes.

User safety and additional functions

Safety is a priority in the design of this socket. It is equipped with shutter protection for the live rails, which minimizes the risk of electric shock even after the socket cover is removed. Additionally, the special design prevents the accidental insertion of objects other than a standard plug.

To increase functionality, the manufacturer has provided a dedicated Basic Moduł K45 adapter, which allows this socket to be mounted in Basic Moduł frames of the 45×45 mm standard. This solution enables integration with a wide range of telecommunications elements from leading structural cabling manufacturers as well as Simon Connect multimedia plates.

Installation is carried out using proven methods—claws or screws—ensuring installation versatility for both professionals and DIY enthusiasts. The entire unit is made of halogen-free PC material, making the product ecological and safe for health.
