This anthracite-colored Simon 54 double stair switch is an ideal solution for controlling lighting from two locations. Solid construction and easy installation

The switch is designed for flush mounting, providing an aesthetic appearance of the installation. The surface finish is matte, and the screw terminals ensure a secure connection of the wires. The mounting depth of 31 mm allows for trouble-free installation in standard installation boxes. A lacquered surface treatment provides resistance to damage and corrosion.

Functionality and safety

The switch features a switching current for fluorescent lamps of 10 AX and a rated voltage of 250 V. The construction based on a basic element with a central protective plate ensures safe use. Additionally, the Simon 54 series offers a number of installation conveniences:

• A new bridge allows for precise adjustment of the mechanism thanks to supports for a spirit level – this makes it easier to perfectly level the switch during installation.
• Metal mounting presses the frame against the bridge, hiding imperfections in the installation boxes – this allows for aesthetic installation even with uneven boxes.
• A small mechanism leaves more space in the installation box – this makes it easier to route cables and improves the installer's comfort.
• Base protrusions help maintain the vertical or horizontal alignment of multiple sets – an ideal solution when installing several switches side by side.
• Possibility of mounting without boxes thanks to special holes – this provides flexibility in the absence of a standard installation box.
• Universal multiple frames are designed for vertical and horizontal arrangements – you can adapt them to any interior design.
• All frames are prepared for IP 44 version (after applying a gasket) – this increases resistance to moisture and dust, which is important e.g. in bathrooms or kitchens.
• A recess on the body indicates the optimal length of wire stripping - minimizes the risk of errors during wire connection.
• A busbar cover minimizes the risk of electric shock even after removing the socket covers - additional protection for users and installers.
