Functionality and safety

The switch features a switching current for fluorescent lamps of 10AX and a rated voltage of 250V AC. Screw terminals ensure a secure and durable connection of the wires. The switch construction is based on a basic element with a central protective plate, which increases its functionality and safety. The connection arrangement is a 2x1-pole switch, which means it can control two circuits independently. The mounting depth is 31 mm, allowing for easy installation in standard flush-mounted boxes.

The Simon 54 series is distinguished by a well-thought-out design that simplifies installation. A new bridge allows for precise adjustment of the mechanism thanks to supports for the spirit level, and metal mounting presses the frame against the bridge, hiding imperfections in the installation boxes. A recess on the body indicates the optimal length of wire stripping, and non-falling current clamp screws make the installer's job easier. Advanced plastic with refining additives guarantees color durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Additionally, the frames of the Simon 54 series are universal – they fit both vertical and horizontal arrangements and are prepared for IP44 versions (after applying a gasket).
