Floor box – a solid solution for underfloor installations

The floor box made of plastic, designed to work with SF110 and SF170 series floor boxes, is a practical solution for installers and end-users. It allows for aesthetic and safe routing of cables and accessories in the floor, making it ideal for offices, public buildings and modern homes. Designed for easy installation and subsequent floor finishing.

Functionality and construction

The box allows finishing the box with a flooring material up to 5 mm thick, ensuring an aesthetic look of the installation. Perforated holes in the bottom facilitate the introduction of pipes and cables, and wide cable entries simplify the routing of wires from inside the box. The passage lock protects the cables from accidental damage during installation or operation. Inside the box there is a protective foam that protects against dust and small contaminants. Made of halogen-free, self-extinguishing plastic, which increases safety of use.

Additionally, the box has a metal separating partition, which provides electromagnetic protection for telecommunication and multimedia circuits – important in modern network installations. Height adjustment allows for perfect adaptation to the screed thickness (leveling range: 0.08 - 0.11 mm). Screw mounting guarantees stable installation of the frame under the equipment.

Application and compatibility

The G11 box is dedicated to SF110 and SF170 series floor boxes from Kontakt-Simon. It will be useful wherever aesthetic and functional routing of cables from the floor is required – from offices and conference rooms to private apartments. The possibility of using a finishing cover allows you to adapt the box to various types of flooring.
