The Simon 82 TV-SAT socket cover is a finishing element that combines functionality and aesthetics. Made of high-quality duroplastic, it provides durability and resistance to mechanical damage and aging. The beige color allows the cover to harmoniously blend into the arrangement of many interiors.

Duroplastic, from which the cover is made, is a material valued for its strength and scratch resistance. This guarantees that the cover will maintain its aesthetic appearance for a long time, even with intensive use. Simon 82 offers a wide range of colors – as many as 39 frame colors allow for perfect matching to the decor of any room. Additionally, the Nature series offers 20 unique colors inspired by nature, such as shades of glass, wood or metal.

Installation and compatibility

The cover is designed for flush mounting and works with Simon Basic and Simon 82 modules. Installation is done with claws or screws, which ensures stable and secure seating. It is worth remembering the possibility of using a frame gasket to obtain an IP44 protection class – protection against splashing water. The cover has connection attenuation at the level of 1 dB for 860 MHz and 2 dB for 2150 MHz, which affects the signal quality. Screw connections provide a solid connection of wires.

The cover is made of halogen-free PC plastic, which increases safety of use. It has a glossy surface and natural surface protection. Its dimensions (75 x 75 x 41 mm) and installation depth (29 mm) allow for easy mounting in standard flush-mount boxes. The IP20 protection class provides basic protection against touching and solid objects. The cover is compatible with frequencies from 5 to 2400 MHz, which guarantees a wide range of applications. The weight of the cover is only 115g, which makes it easier to install.
