This two-module surface-mounted enclosure from the Simon 500 series is a complete solution for mounting sockets and plugs on the wall. Construction and mounting

Made of high-quality halogen-free plastic, the enclosure is durable and safe to use. Its matte anthracite (dark grey – RAL 7021) finish blends perfectly with various interior designs. Surface mounting is quick and easy – the enclosure can be mounted vertically or horizontally. The enclosure dimensions are 167 mm high, 160 mm wide and 59 mm deep. Knockouts with a diameter of 20 and 25 mm facilitate the introduction of cables.

Application and compatibility

The enclosure is adapted for mounting K45 modules – it can accommodate up to 4 K45 modules or 2 Simon 500 modules. This allows it to be used to create various configurations of electrical installations, tailored to individual needs. Remember to use an adapter (50012088-...) when mounting K45 modules in the Simon 500 standard. The enclosure meets the safety requirements of the Low Voltage Directive (2014/35/EU) and has a conformity marking with the RoHS directive (2011/65/EU). The IP40 protection rating guarantees protection against the ingress of solid objects with a diameter greater than 1 mm.
