Universal surface-mounted enclosure for electrical installations

This two-module surface-mounted enclosure from the Simon 500 series is a complete solution for mounting sockets and switches on the wall surface. Made of high-quality, halogen-free plastic, it ensures the safety and durability of the installation. Its universal design in graphite grey (RAL 7021) fits most interiors.

The enclosure is designed for mounting K45 modules – it can accommodate up to four modules – as well as two Simon 500 modules. This allows for flexible configuration of the electrical installation, tailored to individual needs. It is worth remembering that a separate adapter (50012088...) is required for the full functionality of the K45 system.

Construction features and mounting

The enclosure has dimensions of 167 mm height, 160 mm width and 59 mm depth. The possibility of mounting both vertically and horizontally makes it easy to adapt to specific installation conditions. The IP40 protection rating guarantees basic protection against solid objects larger than 1mm, making it suitable for most indoor spaces. The surface finish is matte, providing an aesthetic appearance and resistance to dirt.

The plastic used is characterized by high resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. The enclosure has a surface protection in a raw state, which means there are no additional protective coatings – the material itself is resistant to corrosion and UV radiation. This translates into a long service life and reliability of the product.
