This motion sensor switch is the perfect solution for those who value convenience and energy savings. Thanks to the built-in relay, it allows you to control the lighting without the need for additional devices.

The motion sensor reacts to movement within a range of 7 meters directly and 7 meters to the side, automatically turning on the light when presence is detected. The adjustable light intensity threshold (2-500 lx) allows you to adjust the sensor's sensitivity to the prevailing lighting conditions – so the light will not turn on during the day, but only when it is really needed. The minimum on-time is 5 seconds, and the maximum is as long as 21 minutes, providing great flexibility in configuration.

Installation is simple and intuitive thanks to screw terminals. This switch is compatible with various types of light sources – LED, compact and linear fluorescent lamps, halogen bulbs and traditional incandescent bulbs. The maximum switching current is 8A, ensuring safe use with most standard loads.

Construction and installation

The Simon 54 switch is characterized by a solid construction and high quality workmanship from thermoplastic material. The mounting depth is 28 mm, allowing for easy installation in standard flush-mount boxes. In addition, the Simon 54 series is distinguished by a new bridge enabling precise adjustment of the mechanism and a metal clamp pressing the frame to the bridge – hiding imperfections in the installation boxes. A small mechanism saves space in the installation box and the base protrusions help maintain the vertical or horizontal alignment of multiple sets.
