LHD Corner Trunking Accessories - Aesthetic Finishing of Joints

The LHD 50×20 mm internal corner is a finishing accessory designed for the precise joining of sections of electrical conduits where two cables meet at an internal angle. It is used in conjunction with LHD series corner trunking with a cross-section of 50×20 mm, enabling an aesthetic and tight connection at the corners of walls, recesses, and wall spaces.

This element is suitable for both domestic and commercial installations. Thanks to its color matching RAL 9003 (signal white), the finish remains consistent with the other elements of the cable routing system, without visible gaps or distortions at the bends.

Construction and Mounting

The corner cover is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), a material commonly used in electrical installations due to its good mechanical strength and ease of processing. The dimensions of 50×20 mm correspond to the cross-section of the dedicated LHD trunking, ensuring a perfect fit without any looseness.

The snap-on mounting type means that the element is placed on the ends of the conduits and snaps into place, without the need for tools or additional fasteners. Disassembly is also non-invasive, making it easier to modify the installation if necessary.

The raw surface does not require additional processing; it is smooth and ready for use immediately after removal from the packaging.

Chemical Resistance and Operating Conditions

The trunking and accessories in the LHD series are characterized by resistance to chemicals, allowing them to be used in industrial environments exposed to contact with oils, lubricants, or cleaning agents.

The operating temperature range is from -5 to +60 °C, which covers the typical conditions found in residential and office buildings, both during transport and storage in colder seasons and in rooms with elevated temperatures.

The protection rating of IP40 means effective protection against solid objects larger than 1 mm (e.g., small tools or wire) and no protection against water; therefore, the product is not intended for use in damp or outdoor areas without additional protection.

The impact resistance of IK06 confirms the resistance to impacts with an energy of up to 1 joule; the trunking will not crack from accidental impact during installation or operation.

The products can be used with base materials with a flammability rating of up to C3 according to the CSN EN 50 085-1 standard. The manufacturer has EU declarations of conformity, as well as REACH and RoHS declarations.
