Universal DHW heat exchanger for operation with a boiler and an electric heater

This standing DHW heat exchanger with a spiral coil is a solid solution for preparing domestic hot water both in single-family homes and commercial facilities. Designed to work with a central heating boiler, it also offers the possibility of connecting an electric heater, providing flexibility and independence in access to hot water. The device's construction has been designed for easy installation and long-lasting, trouble-free operation.

Construction and safety features

The heat exchanger is made of high-quality steel from proven suppliers, guaranteeing durability and corrosion resistance. A uniform layer of enamel provides effective protection of the inner surface of the tank against the action of water and heating agent. Each unit undergoes rigorous leak tests and quality control of enamel coatings, confirming its reliability. Additional anti-corrosion protection is provided by a magnesium anode - its condition should be checked regularly (every 12 months) and replaced (every 18 months) to ensure optimal protection against corrosion.

Performance and efficiency

The spiral coil ensures efficient heat transfer from the heating agent to the domestic hot water, and the coil power is 42 kW with a capacity of 300 liters. Thick PUR insulation (67 mm) minimizes heat loss, reducing operating costs and environmental impact - the energy class of the device is B. Universal connections (external thread) facilitate installation in existing installations. At parameters of 80/10/45°C (heating water/supply/utility water temperature), the flow rate of heating water through the coil is 2.5 m³/h, ensuring rapid heating of domestic hot water.

The heat exchanger is characterized by a nominal capacity of 300 liters and a coil surface area of 1.43 m². The nominal pressure of the tank and coil is 1.0 MPa. The device is equipped with a magnesium anode of type AMW.M8.400, and its dimensions are 1523 mm in height and 688 mm in diameter. It has connections with the following parameters: hot water inlet/outlet - 1" Gz, heating agent supply/return - 1" Gz, heater connection - 6/4", circulation connection - 1/2".
