The DO600 manhole body is an element designed for the construction of channel manholes, providing access to underground infrastructure. Made of durable grey cast iron, it is characterized by high resistance to loads and corrosion, guaranteeing long-lasting and trouble-free operation. This product is used in places exposed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic - on roads, streets, parking lots, as well as in industrial areas.

Design and user parameters

The body with a height of 115 mm and a diameter of 600 mm is designed in accordance with the PN-EN 124-2:2015-07 standard, which confirms its compliance with European safety and quality standards. Load class D400 (40 tons) means that the manhole cover can withstand significant static loads, making it an ideal solution for high-traffic areas. Grey cast iron provides not only mechanical strength but also resistance to weather conditions and chemical substances.

It is worth paying attention to the declared user properties, such as the bearing surface of the body (Pb ≤7.5N/mm2) and the load capacity of 400 kN. Permanent deformation does not exceed 0.2 mm, which proves the stability of the structure even under heavy load. The product has passed positive load tests and meets the requirements for cover security. The reaction to fire is classified as A1 - meaning the product is non-combustible.

Installation and application

The DO600 manhole body is intended for installation in combination with an appropriate cover (available separately). The raw surface of the body allows it to be adapted to individual needs - it can be painted or covered with other protective materials. Thanks to its round shape and standard dimensions, the manhole easily integrates with existing infrastructure. Use in public areas requires compliance with local building regulations and safety rules.
