Universal control cable for various applications

ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 100 is a flexible control cable suitable for both industrial installations and machine cabling. This cable, manufactured by the renowned company LAPP, is designed for medium mechanical loads and fixed or occasionally moving connections without tensile stress. It is ideal for use in dry and humid environments, offering versatility in wiring control circuits inside machines and between plants.

The cable is characterized by high electrical safety thanks to test voltages of 4000 V. The outer jacket made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) provides resistance to acids and alkalis, as well as limited resistance to oils. The cable construction is also suitable for twisted applications, making it an ideal choice even in demanding conditions, such as wind turbines.

Construction and properties

The ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 100 cable has two cores with a cross-section of 4 mm², providing sufficient current capacity for many applications. The cores are made of stranded copper, guaranteeing flexibility and ease of installation. Colored cores facilitate identification during installation. The cable does not have a screen, making it a more economical solution for applications where shielding is not required.

In accordance with EU Directive 305/2011 (BauPVO/CPR), ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 100 cables have classified fire-retardant properties – the selection of the appropriate article number with a certificate is available on the LAPP website. Space saving is another advantage of this product – reduced wall thickness allows for more compact cabling. It is a high-quality alternative to YSLY or YY control cables, offering reliability and durability.
