Universal control cable for various applications

The ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 100 cable is a versatile solution for wiring control circuits, both inside machines and between plants. It is suitable for dry and damp environments, and its flexible design makes installation easy even in difficult conditions. The cable is designed for medium mechanical loads and fixed or occasionally moving connections, without tensile stress.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 300/500V and is made of stranded copper conductors, which ensures good flexibility and reliable connections. PVC insulation guarantees resistance to many chemical substances, including acids and bases, as well as limited resistance to oils. The outer PVC jacket provides additional protection against mechanical damage. Flexibility class 5 confirms the high flexibility of the cable. Color coding of the conductors facilitates the identification of individual wires, and the yellow-green protective conductor ensures safe use. The cable has an Eca certificate confirming its fire properties in accordance with EU Directive 305/2011 (BauPVO/CPR).

Safety and parameters

ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 100 has passed voltage tests at 4000V, which guarantees high electrical safety. Reduced wall thickness translates to space savings during installation. The cable is resistant to twisting, making it suitable for use in wind turbines. The outer diameter of the cable is 8.1 mm, and the operating temperature is in the range of -40°C to +80°C. It is a high-quality alternative to control cables of type YSLY or YY, offering equally good or better performance parameters.
