Universal control cable for various applications

The OLFLEX CLASSIC 110 control cable is a versatile solution for electrical installations, both in fixed conditions and with occasional bending. It is characterized by flexibility and resistance to oils, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of industrial and construction applications. Made of copper, with insulation and an outer jacket of PVC, it provides reliable connections and safe operation.

Construction and properties

This cable consists of multi-wire copper conductors class 5, which ensures high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during frequent bending. The core insulation is made of LAPP P8/1 type PVC, and the outer jacket is also made of PVC, in a gray color (close to RAL 7001). The cores are twisted in layers, which minimizes the risk of mechanical damage. Core marking is done using numbers, in accordance with VDE 0293-334 standard – this facilitates the identification of individual wires during installation and servicing. The cable does not have a screen or a protective conductor.

Applications and benefits

OLFLEX CLASSIC 110 is used in fixed installations and with occasional bending without tensile stress. It will work well both in dry and humid rooms, exposed to medium mechanical loads. It is also suitable for applications requiring torsional movement, typical for wind turbine generators (WTG). Additionally, this cable is oil-resistant according to DIN EN 50290-2-22 (TM54) and has a VDE certificate of conformity.
