Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction that ensures flexibility even at low temperatures (down to -15°C), which facilitates installation and operation in difficult conditions. Made of stranded copper conductors, it has PVC insulation that provides good electrical and mechanical protection. The outer PVC jacket is resistant to acids and alkalis, which increases the durability of the cable in an aggressive environment. Thanks to the reduced wall thickness, the cable saves space during installation.

The ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 110 cable is designed for medium mechanical loads and fixed and occasionally moving connections without tensile loads. The ability to bend flexibly makes it suitable for use in moving parts of machines and chain guides. Additionally, the cable construction is suitable for twisting applications, e.g. in wind turbines. It meets the requirements of DIN EN 50290-2-22 (TM54) standard, confirming oil resistance. It has a fire classification of Eca according to EU Directive 305/2011 (BauPVO/CPR), which guarantees safety of use. The cable has passed VDE tests, confirming its high quality and electrical safety (test voltage 4000 V).
