Control cable for demanding applications

The OLFLEX CLASSIC 110 4G2.5 control cable is a reliable solution for control installations, both indoors and outdoors – provided that the appropriate temperature range is maintained. Made of copper, with insulation and an outer jacket of PVC, it provides good protection against mechanical and chemical influences. The construction with four cores of 2.5 mm² cross-section allows for the transmission of control signals and powering devices with low power consumption.

This cable is particularly recommended for applications requiring higher rated voltage and in places exposed to oil – it has an oil-resistant coating in accordance with IEC 60811-404. The cores are numbered, which facilitates identification and connection of the cables. Additionally, the cable has a protective conductor, increasing safety. Fire reaction class Eca provides a basic level of fire protection.

Construction features and application

OLFLEX CLASSIC 110 is characterized by a flexible construction with multi-wire cores of class 5, which facilitates installation and routing of cables in tight spaces. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 8.9 mm, and the minimum bending radius in fixed installations is 35.6 mm. This allows the cable to be easily adapted to different installation configurations. It is intended for fixed and occasionally moving connections without tensile loads. It can be used in both dry and humid rooms.

This cable is perfect for wiring control circuits of machines and equipment, as well as in installations between buildings. Its resistance to weather conditions allows it to be used outdoors (within the appropriate temperature range). The reinforced outer jacket with a thickness of at least 1.8 mm provides high mechanical strength and resistance to damage.
