The ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 110 5G4 control cable is a reliable solution for wiring control circuits in machines, industrial installations and buildings. It is characterized by flexibility and resistance to external factors, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end users. The construction with five cores with a cross-section of 4 mm² provides adequate performance for a wide range of applications.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of multi-strand copper conductors of flexibility class 5, which guarantees high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during bending. The cores are insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and marked with numbers for easy identification. The whole is surrounded by a gray outer PVC coating, which provides protection against mechanical damage, moisture and the influence of most chemicals. The cable also has a protective conductor, which increases safety.

The use of PVC as the insulation and outer coating material ensures resistance to the action of oils in accordance with IEC 60811-404. In addition, the cable is characterized by high electrical resistance - the rated voltage U/U0 is 500 V / 300 V, respectively. The reaction to fire class is Eca, which meets the requirements of EU Directive 305/2011 (BauPVO/CPR). The minimum bending radius in fixed installations is 48.4 mm, and in mobile installations without guidance - 121 mm. The cable remains flexible even at low temperatures down to -15°C during installation and can operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C after installation (without vibration).

A wide range of versions of this cable is available, even up to 100 cores, allowing it to be adapted to the specific needs of each project. Its versatility makes it suitable for use in both dry and humid rooms, as well as in conditions exposed to acids and bases.
