The OLFLEX CLASSIC 110 control cable is a solution for installations requiring flexibility.
Construction and materials ensuring reliability
The cable utilizes class 5 copper cores (multi-wire flexible), which guarantees exceptional flexibility while maintaining high electrical conductivity. Each core has a cross-section of 1,5 mm², and the entire assembly consists of 4 main cores plus a protective earth core (marked yellow-green). The insulation and outer sheath are made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
The construction is round with an outer diameter of 10,8 mm, which facilitates routing in various types of installations.
Operating parameters and exploitation conditions
The cable operates at a rated voltage of 0,6/1 kV and maintains full functionality across a wide temperature range. During installation, it can be used in the range of -5°C to +70°C, while after permanent installation, it operates in the range of -40°C to +80°C. This temperature versatility allows for use both indoors and outdoors.
The minimum bending radius is 43,2 mm for fixed installations and 162 mm for mobile applications, enabling routing even in tight spaces without the risk of damaging the internal structure.
Safety, technical standards, and applications
The product meets the requirements of the IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding flame retardancy and has a fire reaction classification according to EN 13501-6 as Eca. The PVC insulation provides additional protection against the action of acids and bases and exhibits conditional oil resistance according to EN 60811-404.
Core identification is carried out digitally (numerically), which facilitates installation and service.
Thanks to its class 5 construction, it is suitable for applications with medium mechanical loads and periodic movements without tensile stress. It also performs well in torsional systems found in wind turbines. It can be used in both dry and damp rooms as well as outdoors (while maintaining the permissible temperature range).
