Construction and application

The ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 110 CY cable is designed for use in dry and humid environments, both indoors and outdoors (provided protection against UV radiation). It is suitable for industrial installations, machines, heating and air conditioning systems, as well as in transport and conveyor systems. Thanks to the shielding, it is particularly recommended in environments exposed to electromagnetic interference.

The cable consists of multi-wire copper conductors with a cross-section of 1 mm², insulated with PVC. The conductors are twisted in layers and secured with an inner PVC coating. The shielding consists of a braid of tinned copper wires, providing effective protection against interference. The whole is surrounded by a transparent outer PVC coating, making it easier to identify the conductors. The conductor marking is made with black numbers, which greatly facilitates installation and servicing. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor.
