The OLFLEX CLASSIC 110 CY cable is a professional solution for control circuits in industrial environments where electrical safety and resistance to electromagnetic interference are crucial. The seven-core construction with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² per core ensures sufficient installation flexibility while maintaining high current-carrying capacity.
Construction and materials ensuring reliability
The construction is based on fine strands of electrolytic copper, Class 5, which guarantees optimal flexibility while maintaining mechanical durability. Each core has PVC LAPP P8/1 insulation, and the entire assembly is layered-twisted for structural stability.
The internal grey sheath and external transparent PVC sheath provide comprehensive mechanical and chemical protection. The galvanized copper wire braid guarantees effective EMC protection - the transfer impedance does not exceed 250 Ω/km at a frequency of 30 MHz.
Electrical parameters and operating conditions
The rated voltage U0/U: 300/500V combined with a high test voltage of 4000V ensures exceptional electrical safety during operation. The cable maintains full functionality across a wide temperature range: from -40°C to +80°C for fixed installations and from -5°C to +70°C for sporadic movement.
The minimum bending radius is 53.4 mm for fixed installations and 178 mm for non-guided moving applications, enabling flexible mounting even in tight spaces. An outer diameter of only 8.9 mm allows for space savings in cable trays and conduits.
Industrial applications and certifications
The product finds wide application in plant engineering, industrial machinery, and heating and air conditioning systems. It is particularly recommended for wiring control circuits inside machines and connections between plants - in both dry and damp rooms.
The cable meets VDE standard requirements (registration no. 7030) and has a fire classification according to EU directive 305/2011 (BauPVO/CPR). Fire resistance confirmed by the IEC 60332-1-2 standard provides additional safety during use in environments with increased fire protection requirements.
