This flexible ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 400 P control cable is a solid choice for both installers and end-users who need a reliable solution in harsh conditions. The cable is designed for fixed and occasionally moving connections where durability and resistance to external factors are important. It is ideal for wiring control circuits inside machines and between plants.
Strength and damage resistance
A key feature of this cable is its outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR). PUR provides high resistance to abrasion, cuts and tears – this translates to a longer cable life, even in demanding industrial environments. Additionally, PUR is resistant to mineral oils and many chemicals, making it an ideal solution in workshops, production halls or other places exposed to contact with these substances. The cable retains its properties even under the influence of UV radiation, allowing it to be used outdoors (taking into account the operating temperature range from -5°C to 70°C).
Safety and compliance with standards
The ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 400 P cable has PUR insulation and multi-strand copper conductors. The conductors are marked with numbers and yellow-green color for the protective conductor. The construction with 12 conductors with a cross-section of 1 mm² ensures flexibility and easy installation. The outer diameter of the cable is 10.5 mm. The cable has been tested for resistance to ECOLAB® disinfectants and cleaning agents, which increases hygiene and safety in critical applications.
