Construction and properties

The LiYY cable is characterized by a round cross-section and a gray outer PVC coating. It has four conductors twisted into one bundle, which makes it easier to identify individual wires thanks to color coding. The lack of shielding and armor makes the cable lightweight and easy to install, while still providing sufficient protection against interference in typical applications. Thanks to the fire reaction class Eca, it meets basic fire safety requirements.

• Flexibility: Multi-wire conductor construction (class 2) provides high flexibility, making it easy to lay the cable even in tight spaces.
• Resistance: The outer PVC coating protects the cable from the influence of mechanical and atmospheric factors within a certain temperature range (from -40°C to +80°C after installation).
• Versatility: The cable is suitable for use in dry and humid rooms, but is not intended for underground installations or environments with a high oil content.
• Temperature range: Possibility of installation in a wide range of ambient temperatures from -5°C to +70°C.
• Bending radius: The minimum bending radius for fixed installations is 19.2 mm, and for movable installations without guidance – 48 mm, which allows for precise cable routing without the risk of damaging the conductors.
